Who may perform Blending with the Richard Wolf Blending Scope?
As with all aircraft repairs, only qualified personnel is allowed to perform blending. Furthermore, an approval for the borescope Blending procedure must exist. Due to different policies of the engine OEMs, of the large maintenance & repair organisations (MROs) and of the national authorities there are various approaches but all of them require proper training.

Who offers training for the Richard Wolf Blending Scope?
Richard Wolf offers training on Blending Scope handling only. Training on Blending Scope application is provided by the engine OEMs and large MROs. We are ready to advise you from our experience.

Is the Richard Wolf Blending Scope profitable for smaller operators?
Yes, as long as a borescope specialist is with the organisation. The capital investment has paid after the first application. Reaction times with own staff tend to be quickest. Consider that each hour delay will cost thousands of US$ otherwise!
